Mariners Game

So I was able to accompany my parents and some family friends to Seattle.
We went to Pike's Market and then we went to a Mariner's Game! It was so much fun! I loved it!

We had a delicious lunch at the chinese food restaurant at Pikes.

It's Been Awhile

I have neglected my blog for quite some time, so I am attempting to update! Hopefully this won't be too complicated.

Birthday Suprise

I have found the most amazing present ever!! It's for Tina, who's birthday is on Wednesday. She'll be 23 and practically in the denture cream. Just Jessin'! ~_^. Anyways, I'm really looking forward to Wednesday night, she'll be having her birthday dinner and we'll all get to celebrate. And I can giver her the present!!!

My Swaps!

So I've recently participated in two swaps that have sent out and am in two more for which I'm still crafting. The first swap was a Twilight: Longing for New Moon swap, my partner was Pinkleo. She did an amazing job!! I received such a great package from her! There was so much good stuff in it!! I think my favorite would be the Bella hat she knitted for me, or the Meadow bracelet, lol or the werewolf kibble! ^_^.

I also received two presents from the August birthday swap!! I got a hardcore bag from MareMare and two fabulous bars of cp soap. And from Crosswinds, I received an abundance of goodies! She sent me three headbands, earrings, a necklace, candy and a cute birthday card!

I have been very lucky!

I also sent out two packages, one for the NM swap and the second for the birthday swap. Unfortunately, my envelope was lost in the mail or something so Becca hasn't received yet. I'm sending again.

Not for the Faint of Heart

Ahhhh life. It seems as though you wait and wait for things to happen, then you wait some more. But once you have those things you are waiting for something new!

I suppose it all seems more dreary and bleak on blah days, horrid and unacceptable on bad days and ridiculously amazing (why did I even worry?) on good days.

I have been in a period of blah days dotted infrequently with horrible, shoot myself in the shin, throw a vase against the wall and scream bad days. Those seem to resonate more than do the good days, when something happens and I can't stop the smile from radiating from my face. And those moments spent remembering the intense happiness often lead to the, what seems to be inevitable, slump back into the pit of desolation and the feeling of alone-ness.

I continually remember little things about that time of joy, a small laugh shared, a kiss or touch, some compliment given unexpectedly and I feel light, the smile breaks out and I revel in the feelings.

Unfortunately, I then remind myself that I am not there now and will not be again. I wonder why I torture myself with wallowing in the sadness. The loss of those moments yet again. And can only say that I have been this way for so long that to break the habit will take time, so much effort and the will to make the change.

For now my ramblings are at an end.

Newly Mr. & Mrs.

Two of my best friends just got married this week (Monday) in Vegas. David and Tina had family and friends with them as they partied down the strip, caught the Cirque de Soleil "Love" show and exchanged vows on Monday at Caesar's  Palace!

 I wish them the best in all that they do and know that they'll be so happy together.

My Twizzle's Birthday

 My Twizzle turns 21 today!!!! She is in Wyoming (Unfortunately I am unable to accompany her) with her bf Peter and her fam. She will be partying down on her birthday at the kegger her mother has planned for her, that's right kegger.  

 I wish I could be there!! I hope she has SO much fun and SO much to drink. Hee Hee. It's not 21 if you don't puke! lol.

McKenna Josephine. My new baby niece. She's so beautiful. I'm so happy to be an Auntie twice over. My beautiful sister and brother (in-law) have two gorgeous children now. What an amazing family. I'm so lucky to be a part of this loving family. I love them so much!

I'm having a lot of fun visiting my family in Oklahoma City! I love them so much and we all get along so well. My big sister is one of my best friends and her husband Jason is wicked awesome!! lol. And my nephew, well he's the best in the whole world!! The weather is REALLY,REALLY hot though!! lol. But it's all good. I miss my friends but I'm glad to be spending this time with Bec and Jas. (And Noah!) I hope my niece comes soon! I think it'll happen tomorrow!! Or maybe not. lol. Today we (just me and Bec) are going to Hobby Lobby! I love this place it's awesome! And we're going to get a coffee (probably a frozen hot chocolate for me!) and probably go to a Goodwill! I'm definitely looking forward to this afternoon!!

Bridal Shower

Tiff and I got everything done in time (barely- I'm always late!) and ready for Tina's bridal shower. We had a Vegas theme and plenty of food, decorations and games. It turned out to be a lot of fun!!

Transformers

We just got home from the midnight showing of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

I loved it! It was so great! I loved the acting and the action scenes. I want to go see it again actually.

My Monday Night

First of all, Tiff and I got a lot done for the bridal shower that we're throwing for Tina. So that was awesome.

Then this afternoon we went on a photo outing to the cove. It was good to be out in the sunny weather and smell the ocean.  It was good to have a camera in my hand and to be shooting again.

Then we went out to dinner with Tiff's family, her mom's birthday! We went to Sam's Cafe and then we walked next door; and rode on the tilt-a-whirl and did the bumper cars twice! lol. I'd never been in bumper cars before! It was fun! Then we got ice cream cones, which I've been waiting for all summer! Twist, chocolate and vanilla. Yum!

Saturday Night Out

We went out on Saturday night to Girtle's and had a really fun night!! The band was playing and we danced! David brought some friends down from Portland and they came out with us. They were so fun!! And hilarious!! We definitely hope they come back!! Good people!

We love the band at Girtle's! (Their official name is "Smoke and Mirrors," but to us they are The band.) They're so great!! If you're ever in Seaside check them out! They played 'Love Shack' for us twice! Wooo!

Twicrafting!

So I am officially part of a Twilight swap on Craftster!! This will be my second swap ever and I'm sure to no one's surprise my second Twilight swap. lol. I haven't found out who my partner is, but that will happen soon! As in two days from now.  I just caught up with the board today! It's nuts there are SO many pages!! And I loved reading what people were posting. It's great to have more people to talk about Twilight with!! Two of my best friends love Twilight also!!! I'm so lucky!!

So I got some amazing stuff in my last swap and I'm so excited to see what is in store for me this round. Plus I did some great crafting on my box that I sent to my partner. (Not trying to toot my own horn, just loved the outcome/final product and was glad to send some great things to my partner!)

Thursday Night

So last night was great! Tina and David came over to hang out. They brought the hookah and we had some sparks/beer and just chilled. It was a good night, we had some delightful conversation as well as an amazing interpretive dance performance.

Did I mention the 'Say Anything' re-enactment? Because that was killer too! Tiff and I love that movie! How could you say no to John Cusack? And I doubt you could say no to this man either!

My Day

So my mom, little sister and aunt Vicki came to Seaside rounded me up and we all went to lunch. We went to a seafood place and I had some delicious scallops! Yum! Then we walked downtown, looked at some shops and just sat on the beach for awhile.

Portland!!!

We headed to Portland for some good times!! We drove up to Tina and Davids apartment, dropped off all of our stuff and started drinking. Well, we went and had some dinner at Chevy's first!! It was good, delicious quesadillas. Then we drank until we had to leave. We then piled 5 people into the back of a compact car. It was ridiculous. We finally got downtown and went to McThaddens- it was awesome! We were constantly on the dance floor, shakin and ripping it up! Then we decided to go somewhere else, so we walked downtown. We tried the Dixie, but they had a cover charge so we moved on. We then went to this restaurant on the top floor of this building. lol. Tiff asked David to dip her, he didn't so Jake did. And dropped her. lol. The bar closed like two minutes after we got there so we left.

So everyone decided they wanted to go home except me and Jake. Jake and I wandered down to this bar and ordered a beer. We played some pool - I won!! lol. Which was unexpected cause Jake is actually good at pool and I suck. I play slop and hope for a lucky shot.

Then after that we left, walked out on the street and realized we were completely lost. lol. We had no clue where we were going. Neither of us are from Portland. So we walked for awhile, then we ran into some people and decided to go with them. lol. We followed them to a club (My heel broke on the way!!!! It was horrible!! I was just walking on my tiptoes with one foot. ugh.) where we were denied entrance. The bouncer guy asked Jake how many he'd had, Jake answered 4 and the guys said that was too much and we couldn't go in. What!! That was ridiculous!! Neither of us were so drunk that we were swaying or leaning or belligerent. Whatever. So we walked on to the Dixie. There was this wasted chick in front crying and the bouncer asked her to go around the corner. He was like are you guys with her, immediately I was like no! lol. The guy was like alright and we got in! No cover charge!! Whooo!! So we went in, got some drinks (Cherry bombs!!) went upstairs, got another drink, then went back downstairs to dance. lol. Then we went back upstairs, got another drink (ummmm tequila shots) and danced some more!!! It was fun! Then the bar was closing down so we hailed a cab and went back home!

Laughing for Three Hours Straight

So my friend Jake came down yesterday and is hanging for the weekend. Tiff and I spent pretty much all of last night laughing our asses off at the hilarity that ensued. This kid is ridiculous. So funny. I am looking forward to whatever comes next. It's going to be awesome.

Today is so beautiful! It's sunshiny and warm. I love it!
I had lunch with Tiff, delicious cafeteria food!! lol. I got the rockstar for tonight!! Wooo! Tic Tacs!! We're going to have a Strawberry Night tonight!! I can feel it!!
